Sneak-ing Into The Fashion Scene

Thanks to the off-duty model look and fashion influencers everywhere, everyone knows that sneakers have totally been in style for a while now. So much for beauty is pain, right?

Sneakers, the most comfortable footwear, have made their big comeback. I jumped right on board months ago with this trend and haven’t looked back. For anyone trying to decide if the fashion sneaker trend is for you, I have reviewed the ones I’ve tried below.

Adidas Superstar Sneakers

These shoes are Katie and Maddie’s off duty staple, and I don’t blame them. Adidas shoes are oh-so comfortable and have a classic look. They are also an affordable option at only $80 a pair, so you will definitely get your money’s worth with this choice.

Not just for hipsters and frat parties! Converse is known as a classic brand for a reason. They usually start to hurt my feet after wearing them all day long, but are still more comfortable than most shoes. They come in a variety of colors, but white is my versatile go-to. They go with every single outfit and are very affordable.

Golden Goose

Golden Goose Superstar Sneakers are some of my favorite fashion sneakers I’ve tried. I think these are very comfortable, but they are a bolder choice. Golden Goose has some really fun options with sneakers coming in leopard print and glitter, but the ones I have are a little more subdued. I have these in pink and white, and I have gotten a lot of wear out of them.

Saint Laurent

These are some of the snazziest, but most uncomfortable sneakers I own. If I’m only wearing them for a short period of time, I can get away with wearing it. But, if you plan on being on your feet all day, heed my warning…these are not the shoes for you!

As always, saving the best for last! My Valentino rockstud sneakers are my favorites to throw on. They completely make an outfit, and are super comfortable. I wore these every day on my last trip, was on my feet all day, and didn’t have a single problem. They’re super pricey, but I was able to find mine for a fraction of their original price on resale at Tradesy.
